FAQ

  • What types of therapy do you use to treat OCD?

We incorporate Unified Protocol (UP) alongside Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help individuals build emotional resilience, manage intrusive thoughts, and gain confidence in facing challenges. Traditional approaches that only utilize ERP have high program drop out rates. By incorporating UP, we make our program more effective and easier to remain engaged in.

  • How often are sessions held?

Our program includes two clinical groups per week in addition to one individual session per week. Each group is 90 minutes while individual sessions are 45 minutes.

  • Do you cater to busy schedules?

Yes, we schedule sessions from 8am to 8:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

  • Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?

Virtual sessions are an option if there is an obstacle, however, we strongly encourage in-person sessions.

  • Do you accept insurance?

We are out of network for all insurance plans. We are happy to offer a superbill for you to submit a claim for out of network benefits.

  • What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Refunds will not be given for cancelled or missed sessions. Individual sessions can be rescheduled if 24 hour notice is provided. Group sessions cannot be rescheduled.

  • Do you provide education and support for family members?

Yes, our program includes family members joining both our individual and group sessions so they can learn how to best support the client.

  • What support is provided after the program is completed?

Ongoing support groups are an option once the program is completed. Additional individual sessions can be scheduled as well.

  • Are your clinicians LGBTQ+ affirming?

YES!! We are an LGBTQ+ affirming clinic, committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for all individuals. We respect and celebrate diverse identities and experiences while offering compassionate, evidence-based care for OCD and mental health.
